Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Temple Tigers (Temple, GA), 54-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions host Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Mt. Zion lost 71-62 in their recent non-league bout against McNair (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Temple will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 82-46 non-league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
