Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA), 55-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Charleroi upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to California (Coal Center, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-1. California lost 80-56 in their recent non-league bout against Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Ringgold will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 75-53 non-league loss to Clairton (Clairton, PA).
