Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) and the visiting Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV), saw Fairmont Senior's basketball squad overcome Logan by a tally of 58-46.

With the victory, Fairmont Senior improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Lewis County (Weston, WV) to confront the Minutemen in a Big Ten challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Logan will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
