The Nemaha Central Thunder basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Hiawatha Red Hawks to 35 in the Thunder non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry-Lecompton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Nemaha Central will battle a Kaws team coming off a 50-36 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS). The Kaws record now stands at 2-2.

The Red Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holton (Holton, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Holton prevailed over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS), 63-38, in a non-league contest.
