North Carolina High School Basketball - Havelock knocked off by New Bern

The New Bern Bears basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Havelock Rams to 45 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. New Bern will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 71-42 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.
The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, East Carteret was outscored by Washington (Washington, NC), 73-25, in a non-league contest.
