In Friday's league test, the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), by a score of 67-40.

Next, the Warhawks encounter the South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) in a 2A Region 5 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.

The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Jacksonville Lighthouse (Jacksonville, AR). The Wolves come into the 2A Region 5 test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Jacksonville Lighthouse was routed by White County Central (Judsonia, AR), 79-19, in a league test.
