Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County bested by Battle Mountain

Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 39-29 in a league match.

With the victory, Battle Mountain advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 2A Northern match on Saturday, December 14. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-2. Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost 46-13 in their recent league match against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV)

The Mustangs now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Wendover for a 2A Northern bout on Saturday, December 14. Pershing County will play a Wolverines team coming off a 31-15 non-league win over Lund (Lund, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.
