Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), 55-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pascagoula upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Bay lost 54-42 in their recent non-league bout against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS)

Next up, the Hawks play the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Rock-a-Chaws come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 52-37 league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS).
