The Pascagoula Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Hancock Hawks to 41 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Picayune for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Pascagoula will meet a Maroon Tide team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 22-7.

The Hawks (14-16) will now prepare for their contest against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Hurricanes enter the 6A Region 4 contest with a 16-12 record. In their last contest, West Harrison was outscored by Picayune (Picayune, MS), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
