Texas High School Basketball - Rio Hondo overwhelmed by Santa Rosa

The Santa Rosa Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Rio Hondo Bobcats to 50 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyford for a 3A Region IV District 32 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Santa Rosa will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-51 league loss to IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.
The Bobcats (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against IDEA Weslaco Pike (Weslaco, TX). The Mavericks come into the 3A Region IV District 32 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, IDEA Weslaco Pike triumphed over IDEA Riverview (Brownsville, TX), 43-34, in a league contest.
