North Carolina High School Basketball - Seventy-First edges South View

The Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) basketball nipped the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 48-47 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the 3A/4A United 8 test with a 0-4 record.

The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fayetteville Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. South View will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 80-33 non-league loss to Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.
