North Carolina High School Basketball - Surry Central crushes West Wilkes

Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), 95-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, Surry Central upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Granite Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Granite Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a 2A Foothills bout, on Tuesday, January 2. West Wilkes will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
