West Virginia High School Basketball - Nitro fells Sissonville

December 16, 2022: Nitro, WV 25143

Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 66-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Nicholas County won 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Sissonville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).
