The Grafton Bearcats basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting North Marion Huskies to 43 in the Bearcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bearcats now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a Big Ten game on Friday, December 20. Grafton will play a Polar Bears team coming off a 50-35 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, North Marion falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a Big Ten game on Friday, December 20. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 1-2. Buckhannon-Upshur lost 67-41 in their recent non-league game against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)
