Michigan High School Basketball - Tawas Area winner over Alcona

In Monday's non-league outing, the Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) basketball squad felled the host Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), by a margin of 81-62.

The Braves (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Standish-Sterling thwarted Beaverton (Beaverton, MI), 60-41, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Whittemore-Prescott for a North Star outing on Friday, January 6. Alcona will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 43-39 non-league loss to Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.
