Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), 65-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tawas Area upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Braves travel to St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Monday, March 13. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 20-4. St.Ignace won 67-54 in their recent non-league bout against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI)
