Utah High School Basketball - Cottonwood nips Murray

December 19, 2024: Salt Lake City, UT 84121

In Thursday's league contest, the host Cottonwood Colts basketball team scored a close 56-55 triumph over the Murray Spartans.

The Colts (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, American Leadership Academy nipped Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT), 90-12, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Murray will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 88-43 non-league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT).
