The Lee Generals basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Eastside Spartans to 64 in the Generals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Generals now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Lee will confront a Rebels team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Eastside falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 3-3. Lebanon lost 62-49 in their recent non-league game against Grundy (Grundy, VA)
