The Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) basketball were winner over the host Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 65-52 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. Eastside will play a Pioneers team coming off a 63-59 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Lee falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Generals host Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Twin Springs won 52-20 in their recent non-league bout against Hurley (Hurley, VA)
