Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX), 54-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lindale upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Whitehouse lost 60-34 in their recent league bout against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Brownsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Guard come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 36-35 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX).
