North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions can't hold off South Charlotte Thunder

December 20, 2022: Concord, NC 28027

The South Charlotte Thunder Thunder basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions to 57 in the Thunder league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville Trailblazers for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. South Charlotte Thunder will battle a Trailblazers team coming off a 60-39 league loss to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Trailblazers record now stands at 1-4.

The Stallions (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Carolina Prep (Burlington, NC). The Defenders come into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record.
