North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions knocked off by South Charlotte Thunder

February 18, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

The South Charlotte Thunder Thunder basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions to 55 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunder now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Wake for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. South Charlotte Thunder will meet a Sabres team coming off a 56-47 non-league loss to New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 20-12.

The Stallions (22-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, New Life Camp ran past South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
