Georgia High School Basketball - Jones County crushes Northeast

Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA), 74-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jones County upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-1.

Next up, the Raiders play the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) in a AA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 6. Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 66-54 non-league win over Dodge County (Eastman, GA).
