Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 64-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Georgetown-Ridge Farm upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to play the Raiders in a Vermilion Valley bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Iroquois West won 44-27 in their recent non-league bout against Watseka (Watseka, IL)

Next up, the Trojans play the Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 63-46 league loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
