The Hoover Huskies basketball team (Clendenin, WV), was nudged 43-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Poca The Dots (Poca, WV)

The The Dots now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 2. Poca will confront a Bison team coming off a 67-56 non-league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Bison record now stands at 5-2.

The Huskies (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Lewis County was nudged by Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 52-29, in a non-league battle.
