Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Kaiser Cougars (Honolulu, HI), 73-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kailua upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Surfriders host Kalani (Honolulu, HI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Kalani lost 68-53 in their recent league bout against Kahuku (Kahuku, HI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Kaiser will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Rough Riders come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 58-36 league loss to Kailua (Kailua, HI).
