Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND), 63-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Wahpeton upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to Northern Cass (Hunter, ND) to play the Jaguars in a A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Northern Cass won 68-44 in their recent league bout against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND)

Next up, the Squirrels play the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks (Bismarck, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Central Cass will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 88-51 league win over Watford City (Watford City, ND).
