In Thursday's league outing, the Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) basketball squad felled the host Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND), by a margin of 68-53.
The Hi-Liners (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Central Cass (Casselton, ND). The Squirrels go into the A Region 1 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Central Cass was beaten by Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND), 79-71, in a non-league outing.
The Broncos now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Lisbon will clash with a Loboes squad coming off a 75-38 league win over Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND). The Loboes record now stands at 7-6.
