In Friday's league outing, the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), by a count of 59-32.
The Barbs (21-9) will now prepare for their outing against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the DuPage Valley outing with a 22-7 record.
The Redhawks now hold a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to Metea Valley for a DuPage Valley outing on Tuesday, February 14. Naperville Central will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-9.
