The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers to 35 in the Cowboys/Cowgirls league victory on Saturday.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magdalena for a A District 2 contest on Thursday, February 16. Cliff will battle a Steers team coming off a 81-24 league win over Animas (Animas, NM). The Steers record now stands at 25-0.

The SonBlazers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Animas (Animas, NM). The Panthers come into the A District 2 contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Animas was defeated by Quemado (Quemado, NM), 44-39, in a league contest.
