New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte can't hold off Albuquerque Academy

The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Del Norte Knights to 38 in the Chargers league victory on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bernalillo for a 4A District 6 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Spartans team coming off a 63-61 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 10-14.

The Knights (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, Laguna Acoma edged Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM), 49-22, in a league contest.
