In Wednesday's league test, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), by a score of 85-49.
Next, the Cougars encounter the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a 5A District 1 test, on Friday, February 14. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 12-11 record after their 83-61 league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
The Panthers (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm come into the 5A District 1 test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Cleveland was routed by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 76-68, in a league test.
