The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), observed Cibola's basketball team knock off Piedra Vista by a score of 80-65.
The Cougars (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, Farmington prevailed over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 68-61, in a league challenge.
