The Mineral Point Pointers routed the visiting Southwestern Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 62-18 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Pointers face the Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities game, on Thursday, February 16. Mineral Point will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 7-16 record after their 61-20 non-league win over De Soto (De Soto, WI).

With the defeat, Southwestern moves to 3-18 on the year. The Wildcats host Boscobel (Boscobel, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Thursday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-13. Boscobel lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against Darlington (Darlington, WI)
