Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), 68-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Des Moines upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Demons travel to Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM) to clash with the Trojans in a A District 5 bout on Thursday, February 15. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Wagon Mound lost 70-43 in their recent league bout against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Roy/Mosquero Longhorn (Roy, NM) in a A District 5 bout, on Thursday, February 15. Cimarron will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Longhorn go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 40-30 league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NM).
