North Carolina High School Basketball - Gaston Christian knocks off Asheville School (Independent)

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Gaston Christian Eagles basketball team scored a good 64-49 win over the Asheville School (Independent) Blues.

The Eagles (24-7) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Asheville Christian Academy dropped by Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA), 64-59, in a league contest.
