In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Valley City Hi-Liners basketball team scored a big 70-47 win over the Northern Cass Jaguars.

The Hi-Liners (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carrington (Carrington, ND). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Carrington was trounced by Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND), 63-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Northern Cass will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Tommies come into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 75-59 league win over Grafton (Grafton, ND).
