The Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave to 48 in the Saints league triumph on Tuesday.

The Saints now sport a 30-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Benedict at Auburndale for a Division II-AA West contest on Friday, February 17. Briarcrest Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-52 non-league loss to Memphis University (Memphis, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 9-13.

Next up, the Purple Wave play the Memphis University Owls (Memphis, TN) in a Division II-AA West bout, on Friday, February 17. Christian Brothers will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 68-52 non-league win over St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN).
