The Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Christian Brothers Purple Wave to 50 in the Saints league victory on Friday.

The Saints now sport a 26-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memphis University for a Division II-AA West contest on Saturday, February 4. Briarcrest Christian will battle a Owls team coming off a 65-48 non-league win over St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Owls record now stands at 17-6.

The Purple Wave (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis University (Memphis, TN). The Owls come into the Division II-AA West contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Memphis University was defeated by Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN), 55-29, in a league contest.
