Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mercyhurst Prep tipped by North East

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting North East Grape Pickers basketball team scored a tight 54-49 triumph over the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers.

In their next game, the Grape Pickers meet the Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 match, on Friday, February 17. North East will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 62-48 league loss to Girard (Girard, PA).

With the defeat, Mercyhurst Prep moves to 10-11 on the year. The Lakers travel to Fairview (Fairview, PA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, February 17. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 14-7. Fairview won 52-44 in their recent non-league match against Erie First Christian Academy (Erie, PA)
