    The Aledo Bearcats basketball team (Aledo, TX), was nudged 58-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX)

    The Pirates now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everman for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Granbury will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-36 league loss to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-8.

    The Bearcats (19-12) will now prepare for their battle against Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 22-11 record. In their last battle, Arlington Heights edged Everman (Everman, TX), 45-36, in a league battle.
