Alaska High School Basketball - Tuluksak can't hold off Akiachak

The Akiachak Huskies basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Tuluksak Wolverines to 21 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kalskag for a 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest on Friday, February 16. Akiachak will battle a Grizzly Bears team coming off a 59-28 non-league loss to Chaputnguak (Chefornak, AK). The Grizzly Bears record now stands at 4-7.
The Wolverines (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kalskag (Upper Kalskag, AK). The Grizzly Bears come into the 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Kalskag edged Akiachak (Akiachak, AK), 52-29, in a league contest.
