The Akiachak Huskies basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Tuluksak Wolverines to 35 in the Huskies league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuluksak for a 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest on Friday, February 9. Akiachak will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 43-35 league loss to Akiachak (Akiachak, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-10.
The Wolverines (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Akiak (Akiak, AK). The Thunderbolts enter the 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Akiak ran past Tuluksak (Tuluksak, AK), 41-20, in a league contest.
