Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL), 50-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Marquette advances its record to 21-10 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Amboy (Amboy, IL) to meet the Clippers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Clippers enter the match with a record of 24-7. Amboy won 55-31 in their recent non-league match against Putnam County (Granville, IL)

The Bruins now own a 20-13 record.
