North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill fells A.L. Brown

February 2, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 72-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Cox Mill upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Chargers host Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 17-3.

Next up, the Wonders clash with the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro bout, on Tuesday, February 6. A.L. Brown will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 82-66 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
