In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) basketball squad felled the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), by a margin of 73-61.

The Cougars (22-5) will now prepare for their outing against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 22-8 record. In their last outing, Trinity thwarted Durham (Durham, CA), 57-46, in a non-league outing.
