    Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) and the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), saw Sidwell Friends's basketball squad hold off St. Andrew's Episcopal by a tally of 47-42.

    With the victory, Sidwell Friends improves its record to 24-4 on the campaign.

    Next up, the Lions play the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 22-6 season record. The Wildebeests come into the challenge with a 23-9 record after their 70-65 non-league win over Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD).
