North Carolina High School Basketball - North Stanly knocked off by Mount Pleasant

The Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and held the host North Stanly Comets to 62 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Academy for a 1A/2A Conference 35 contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Comets (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the 1A/2A Conference 35 contest with a 5-16 record.
