With the victory, North Duplin improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Conference 10 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Rosewood won 38-33 in their recent league challenge against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a 1A Conference 10 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Union will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 50-36 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).
