In Saturday's league outing, the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH), by a margin of 49-47.
The Comets (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against Rhodes (Cleveland, OH). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record.
